If you like a hot weather than Sahara is something for you. Windy days, waves of sand, dunes, that really amazing. There are of course oases out there. Interesting place with lots of different nationalities like French, Italian, Romanian, Indian, American, Scot, Irish, Brit, South-African or Australian. The dunes are from 50 to 200 meters high.
